FACILITIES

The Polymer Mechanical Characterization Laboratory is equipped with an INSTRON 4467 universal machine equipped with several grips ( Compression, tensile , flexure , shear ) , thermostatic chamber, loads cells (10N, 0.5KN y 30KN) . Flexural Creep Machine . Instrumented Impact Ceast Fractovis (falling weight, Izod, Charpy, disc), Triboindenter Hysitron with Multi-range head and SPM head, video extensometer, LVDT, long travel and short travel extensometer. Moulding facilities includes compression molding machine, Horizontal Injection machine and polymer mixer. Simulation facilities are ABAQUS and MODEX 3D softwares .
