LAURA A. FASCE was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1972. She graduated in Chemical Engineering (1997) and received her PhD in Material’s Science (2002) at the University of Mar del Plata. She made postdoctoral short stays at University of Sydney, Universidad Federal de Rio de Janeiro and Politecnico di Milano. She is currently working as a researcher at Institute of Materials Science and Technology. Her research activities are focused on the characterization of mechanical and fracture properties of plastic materials at the macro and nano scales. She has published 17 indexed scientific publications, 3 book chapters and presented more than 50 works at International Conferences.
